Hiring/Search Committees

All proposed postings need to be approved by the Dean.  The Dean's Office will coordinate any additional approvals required for a position.  Please consult with the Dean's Administrative Assistant for further information and be aware that internally there are timing parameters that can impact how long it takes for posting to go live.  The current directions to the Dean's Office from HR is as follows:

"To ensure that the HR Advisor for your area receives your proposed posting by 4:00 p.m. on Monday of the proposed posting week, please note the following posting parameters:

 

  • All postings go live at midnight on Wednesday.
  • Submission deadline for temporary postings is end-of-day Thursday, one week before the posting date
  • Submission deadline for regular postings is end-of-day Thursday, two weeks before the posting date.

 

This will provide enough lead time that if there are any questions related to budget, workload or qualification requirements, etc. those can be resolved in advance of the posting deadline."
